Four x how to wear your cashmere scarf in summer

1. Nice and complicated:
cashmere as a shawl

Summer! As soon as the sun is in the sky, we celebrate everything there is to celebrate: outside!
Picnicking with the kids, barbecuing in the garden or swinging at a beach party.
Unfortunately, in the evening, not only does the sun sink, but so does the temperature.
Ideal then is the
cashmere scarf large
, measuring no less than two meters long and seventy centimeters wide, with which you can wrap yourself up completely during the hours towards the night.

Cashmere is insulating, which feels like your shawl has magical powers.
In time, wrap your scarf around your shoulders or over your legs. That way, you’ll keep the warmth of the sun’s rays trapped for hours. Because the large cashmere scarf is still lightweight, it is ideal for taking with you on vacation. Choose one in a cheerful, bright color and blend right in with Mediterranean or tropical atmospheres. How cool is the

2. The chic cashmere stole

Do you wear a sleeveless or strapless dress at a ceremony or during a ceremony? However feminine, at gatherings of a formal nature or in church, it is more appropriate to cover your shoulders. You are making a choice of great class to wear a scarf from the featherlight collection to use as a stole. These have no frills at the ends and the fabric is slightly translucent: sexy and festive!

The delicate fabric drapes smoothly around your shoulders. For weddings, pastel shades, such as

,

featherlight brown

or

featherlight terra

, favorite. THE biggest benefit to you: with a cashmere stole, you’ll never be shivering or sweating. Even though that romantic castle is a degree too chilly, you continue to smile radiantly.

After you store your stole safely during the subsequent reception at the party. Tip: use the dustbag, which we send along for free with your order, as a protective (inside) bag. Believe us, for that you are eternally grateful to yourself, when someone next to you – we’ll call it something – knocks over red wine….

3. Cashmere on your (cheese) head.

Yes indeed, in summer we happily wear wool on our sphere. It protects your head and hair from the burning sun, from windblown dust and sand. Not too hot? On the contrary! Cashmere wool breathes. The thin fibers wick away moisture, keeping your head cool to the touch.

Those same fibers are also absorbent. So for example, wear your cashmere scarf as a bandana, loosely around your head and one single knot at the back. You let the ends flutter frivolously across your back along with your loose hair.

Do you like to stick your hair up or have a short head? Then perhaps you are also “turban type. Here you tie ends of the scarf right at the front, and creatively work away the loose ends. Did you know that avid turban wearers get a lot of chewing off with a volumizer cap? That one makes it look like you’re harboring a huge bunch of hair under your scarf….

Cashmere is a favorite with headscarf-wearing Muslim women. Possibly combined with a lower cap, the translucent
feathery scarves
an enchanting, Ibiza-like effect.

Always keep in the back of your mind: no matter how strong and long the fibers of cashmere are, too much fretting won’t necessarily make your scarf better. And pins in your scarf is definitely not our thing. No, much prefer to use clothing magnets. Click and your creation is done!

4. Layering is life, cashmere scarf becomes poncho

Fair is fair, many Dutch summer days are quite erratic. Then another splash of rain, then another cloud shifts in front of the sun … We call that “days for layers. In the morning, the cashmere scarf acts as a summer poncho so you won’t be shivering on your bike. If you go out for lunch in the afternoon in your crop top, you’ll transform your cashmere scarf into a matching bandana top in no time.

How that turns out in terms of colors? We prefer ton sur ton. It means: every garment you wear has the same shade of color, even if the exact color varies a bit. We often mock Queen Maxima with it, too. If you go for light tones, combine it with

or

ivory.
This will give you a summer layering look with ultimate comfort.

How nice that your cashmere scarf, flapping loosely over your top, makes for a dressed-up look at the office. By the way, such an extra layer is ideal if the air conditioner is a little too cold. Is it five o’clock? Then you go straight to the terrace and stow the scarf (in that handy dustbag, of course) in your bag. Because the material is very thin, it takes up much less space than, say, a summer coat.
